Archive Zero

Publication

Archive Zero is a publication that collects YouTube videos with zero views, sampled through astronaut.io, just before they dissolve into the digital void.

Each video functions as a message without a recipient: uploaded, public, and yet unseen. Drawing from Claude Shannon’s A Mathematical Theory of Communication, the project manipulates messages that enters a system but fails to reach a receiver.

The Lost Words

Publication

A publication based on untranslatable words in Japanese. It contains four chapters exploring various aspects of language, such as traditional words, slangs, onomatopoeias, and jokes. Showcased at Spitting Images 2024 and Offset 2024 book fairs.

An abstract exploration of the dynamic between individuals and their surroundings, illustrating how the external world can shape one's internal experiences.

The project utilizes the Face Expression Recognition API from face-api.js to analyze users' facial expressions captured through their webcam. Vintage photos sourced from the Chelsea Flea Market are employed to examine how these relics of the past can evoke various emotions.
