Moe Ebii is a designer based in New York City whose practice explores the intersection of technology, printed matter, and typography. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, she is currently designing at V Magazine and works collaboratively with select clients on print and digital projects. Her previous experience includes design roles at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and David Zwirner. She is also the cofounder and designer of Loose Buttons, an independent publication series.

Archive Zero Publication
Archive Zero is a publication that collects YouTube videos with zero views, sampled through astronaut.io, just before they dissolve into the digital void.
Each video functions as a message without a recipient: uploaded, public, and yet unseen. Drawing from Claude Shannon’s A Mathematical Theory of Communication, the project manipulates messages that enters a system but fails to reach a receiver.

Within the Bounds, Beyond the Bounds Publication
Within the Bounds, Beyond the Bounds is a two-part publication of 256 images sourced from the NYPL Digital Collection, Wikipedia Commons, and MoMA’s Art and Artists collection. Within the Bounds features images that closely mirror reality, while Beyond the Bounds includes images that suggest what lies outside the frame, evoking ideas and emotions beyond the surface.
